South Niagara Life Ministries: (SNLM) is a Christian based non-profit, counselling and resource center in the town of Fort Erie; in the beautiful Niagara Region of Ontario, Canada. A second location in Port Colborne, Ontario Canada offers limited services one-half day a week; mainly to those without transportation to our main offices. Compassion: SNLM indiscriminately assists individuals and families in need of timely help toward resolving life-altering crises, issues, circumstances, and problems. We accept people from all walks of life. Excellence: SNLM is committed to: 1) a professional standard of care and code of ethics, 2) a non-judgmental approach, 3) retaining experienced personnel with various degrees, training, and accreditation, and 4) pursuing excellence in ongoing professional development and continuous improvement of services. Integrity: SNLM hands-on assistance involves ‘a plan of care’ that typically includes practical supports, services, and programs–alongside our regular format of counsel. Our relationships are built on honesty, fairness, and confidentiality. Respect: SNLM is concerned for the physical, emotional, social, mental, and spiritual well-being of all those we serve – while respecting the dignity, diversity, and interdependence of all persons. Service: SNLM provides free life-supportive services that are sustained by individual, community, and funding event donors. It is through consistent community support, and not government funding, that our counselling services are able to continue, and remain financially accessible to all persons. Trust: SNLM works in ways to generate trust, build confidence, and instill hope.
