From June 18 to November 12, a 1960s-themed exhibit and other events will be showcased under the banner, BEATLES 50 T.O. The exhibit, When the Beatles Rocked Toronto, opens June 18 at the Market Gallery. Explore the city in the early-to-mid sixties punctuated by the Beatles' tours in '64, '65 and '66. For more information visit toronto.ca/beatles50.   Indigenous Arts FestivalFrom June 16 to 19, experience traditional and contemporary music, dance, theatre, storytelling, literature, crafts, and food created by indigenous artists at the Indigenous Arts Festival at Fort York National Historic Site. For more information on the festival, visit toronto.ca/fortyork.   Canada Day at Mel Lastman's SquareCelebrate Canada's 149th birthday in Toronto on Friday, July 1 from 5 to 10:30 pm at Mel Lastman Square! Enjoy family-friendly festivities including free face painting, a circus act and pop-up performances by Turbo Street Funk and hoop dancer, Lisa Odjig. Nine-piece funk band The Soul Motivators and Juno-nominated hip-hop artist Emmanuel Jal will perform, followed by a spectacular fireworks display.
