The Paper Kites
Quintessential indie folk-rock outfit The Paper Kites have announced a fall North America tour that will launch in September with special guest Rosie Carney. The tour kicks off in Toronto and includes stops in Brooklyn, Nashville, Chicago, Minneapolis, and Seattle before finishing in Los Angeles. See the full list of dates below. From their first EP, Woodland, The Paper Kites (lead vocalist Sam Bentley, vocalist Christina Lacy, guitarist Dave Powys, drummer Josh Bentley, and bassist Sam Rasmussen) have found a loyal audience for their sound, which spans five albums, including last year’s Roses LP. Over a decade later, along with their platinum certifications in Australia, the U.S., Canada, and The Netherlands, the band has also received gold certifications in Italy and New Zealand for their single “Bloom,” as well as 500k followers and 4 million monthly listeners on Spotify.
