I have organized this space specifically for Black Women where we can relearn the principles and practical ways of our Meritah (African) Heritage.

Our beautiful reclamation journey will be led by world-renowned and sought after Master Djembefola of the Numu clan, Amara Kante.

Classes will be held on Sundays from 6:00pm to 7:30pm, starting on September 17, 2023 and run for 3 weeks until October 1, 2023.

We shall learn the secrets of West African instruments and culture for our restoration and also about the power the djembe possesses to communicate and heal once handled properly. You will need to Bring Your Own Djembe drum (BYODD)*.
